1.1 Standalone sensor connection
If you do not have a gauge connected to your tank level sensor (e. g. you have installed the sensor yourself), you should connect only two wires of the Adapter: the blue wire to the sensor «Signal» or «+» output and Black wire to sensor «Ground» or «−». The red wire should be left unconnected and its terminal should be insulated. The CONNECTION setting should be set to RESISTIVE (refer to Section VI); this is the factory setting.
