I have a 1993 First 35s5. I would like to know how the european
modular electrical panel works. There are two layers of electrical
plug blocks. The top layer plugs into the lower layer. Some lines
seem to connect in one side and out the other but that is not
consistent. I'm trying to wire a spare switch to my autopilot but i
need to know how this panel works to do that. Anyone know where to
get documentation on how this panel works or give me some tips on how
it works?

Thanks,
Denis Duhaime

I'm not sure what you have, but most recent Beneteau's have the Wago strips
as shown in the two attachments.

Hope this helps.

The first document I picked off The Beneteau USA web site.  The second one I'm not sure where I got it, but if you look at the footer on it, it states that it came from an Oceanis 321 manual.  So they are basically both Beneteau documents.  I have no way of knowing if it is available for other models.  Just FWIW, my 40.7 manual does not have such a diagram.  However, the wiring in my boat has numerical tabs on most ends of the wire, making it fairly simple to trace wires.  That's only true for the boat wiring itself.  The engine wiring is separate, and can be divined by combining the Volvo manual wiring diagram and the boat diagram (such as it is).
