Raymarine instrument repair

I believe this subject has been listed before, but I can't find the thread.

A friend has a complete (older) raymarine suite of instruments and the ST60+ wind gauge is malfunctioning. Using Ray's data, we checked electrically and the instrument is sending and receiving data from the masthead ( which is moving properly) but the display is not registering the wind speed or direction. I know there is supposed to be someone who does repairs , I believe in Rhode Island, on these units. Does anyone have any info on this outfit ?  Before anyone asks replacement is not in the cards due to many other issues on this boat.

ITHINK you are referencing CAY ELECTRONICS

but I recall having heard they had gone upmarket for the bigger more $$$ all new installs these days. I may have heard wrong.

Does anything happen when you switch from apparent to true? I was having issues with my direction/speed, it turned out to the paddlewheel speed transducer. I can't remember what exactly was happening, but I do know that some instruments are dependent on others, so you could be chasing the wrong issue.

The instrument powers up, can switch from apparent to true, is daisy chained to 5 other instruments that function. The masthead unit spins and points like all the other boats, it just doesn’t move the pointer or display the wind speed.
