Hi Larry,
I have not tried the Froli system. We did have custom mattresses made
for our boat and after researching the various boat custom mattresses available,
I went with a memory foam composite mattress custom made by Knoxfoam.com -
their "trilux" mattress. It was cheaper than inner spring
mattresses. They did an excellent job of accurately reproducing my
template- they fit perfectly.
I have not regretted it. You do have to like the feel of a memory
foam mattress- it is different than an inner- spring. A little hotter, and
firm at first until your body molds a spot. But I awake with no pressure
spots and sleep like a rock. Their site has a discussion of their
composite layered foam mattress versus Tempur-pedic.
Part of the decision was hearing that one of the custom inner spring boat
mattress makers recommends their own foam mattress over their inner
spring.

I'd sure like to sleep more comfortably on the
boat.
