VDO Multifunction display

Hi Guys 

Is there any replacement VDO battery/Fuel /Water Displays around for a OC46  2009

Mine has developed some issues after a local Lightening strike.

A great question - I have a 2011 Bene 40. the VDO has never been totally accurate on the liquid. Also be aware that the Voltage indicator isn't correct either. Their is a small voltage drop between the battery and the VDO. 

When the VDO reads 12.1 the actual reading on the battery itself would ready 12.4 or 12.5

You either have a bad connection or the wires going to It is too small. Too much voltage drop..

That's a 3% voltage drop. That's actually not too bad.

my money is on bad connection especially in  a marine environment. Check for loose connections with corrosion on them

If you don’t have any extra resistance in the electrical system particularly on the negative side it will affect the temp gauge and to a lesser extent the oil pressure. 

The battery gauge should read exactly the same

As the battery bank. 

Investment in a good quality multimeter and work your way up stream from the battery.
