Replacement Thru-Hull Fittings

I have a new to me 1996 OC400, and want to replace the through hull fittings which look like the originals.

My preference would be to fit the Forespar Marelon seacocks

However, this will require cutting a disc out of the hull liner so that they can be fixed and sealed to the main hull.

has anybody done this? and/or any views on how this would affect the hull liner.

I have attached some photos of the first 3 inlets i intend to fit - 

• Propshaft lubrication
• Engine raw water intake
• Toilet intake.

(The PO has already cut a disc out of the Hull Liner to install an ultrasonic antifoul transducer)

I owned a 400

Replaced the engine inlet using a Groco adapter flange. Better set up in my view.  Trimmed out the liner. No issue there and used the Groco backing plate.

Replaced every through hull on my o461 with the forespar marelon units.  Highly recommended.  No worries about corrosion ever again!  I wouldn't worry about cutting through the liner.

we replaced all ours on our OC381 with Grocco bronze thru hulls about 10 years ago
