Hi Stephen  and all ordering G4 LEDs:

 

I got email confirmation that UltraLEDs will correct and make good my last order.  He also confirmed that any order over 20 LEDs gets the 6.00 pound (approx $12.00) price so you should be good to go and place the group order you've been accumulating.  Below appears to be the correct 12V bulb.   Contact Robert Bennett at sa...@ultraleds.com.

I ordered two of the Cyron LED clusters this morning and they have
already shipped them.

It does not appear that the Cyron version includes a voltage
regulator. The lack of a voltage regulator *might* result in reduced
lifetime of the LEDs since they will be subjected to higher voltages
during charging, but that is not certain. One way to overcome that
problem would be to put a voltage regulator on the whole circuit.

It is too bad we don't have a direct comparison of the two choices.

However, since the British version has 21 LEDs and the voltage
regulator, and since Glen likes them and knows they fit in the
Beneteau overhead fixtures, I will take 18 of them (16 for the 423 and
2 for a friend who is going to use them in floor lamps at home).
