For a variety of reasons, I have begun to consider the purchase of a
Beneteau 456 . The reason's include ability to make several off-shore
passages, and sufficient room for 2 -3 guests for leisurely cruising
in eastern med. and cost. The Frers design meets my off-shore needs
and fits my preferences in terms of volume, shape and power under
sail. I also prefer a traditional interior though more modern layouts
and sugar scoop sterns are more desirable for warm weather cruising.

I would greatly appreciate the views and any real world experience
with the 456 in terms of the objectives and build issues. For example
I believe they may have been effected by blisters. I also wish to
avoid teak decks.

In view of the many recent opinions on the the 473, i have decided to
test your patience with this rather open ended question.

Thank you

Mike Smith
