Lewmar Mainsheet Traveler

Hi,

The mainsheet traveler on my 09 Beneteau 31 needs some work. 11 years of Texas sun has done a number on the hardware. I don’t find part numbers anywhere, of course, and the Bene parts site is still down.

I _think_ it’s a Lewmar NTR/Ocean track. Lewmar lists sizes 0-3 fo track and compatible hardware, but I have failed so far to find anything that explains the what the size numbers mean in terms of actual dimensions. Does anyone know where to find a size description, or have a guess what size track the Bene31 likely has?

I’ve considered replacing the whole thing with Harken, but it would be nice to not have to change out the track.

I replaced the rubber parts on the Lewmar mainsheet traveller a couple of years and it's working fine now.

By “rubber parts”, do you mean the bumpers on the end pieces, etc? Can you buy those separately from the rest of the hardware? Some of the blocks on mine are also showing some wear.

Yes, the buffers, I think this is what I ordered:


Size 2 Ocean Rubber Buffer Kit (Black)

You should confirm with the Lewmar site that it's the correct one for your boat:

Are those soft rubber? I don’t recall having anything like that on my main traveler.
