Next week Friday the Vyasa puja weekend starts and we are excited!
In the attachment you’ll find all the required information for the weekend (or at least we tried our best to do so😊).
This year will be the most extensive Vyasa Puja celebration for Guru Maharaj we have had in the Benelux so far! As you’ll see, the official program starts on Friday evening (with preparations already starting on Friday for some of us) and will carry on till Sunday where we’ll conclude the program by serving & honoring the Sunday feast together. New this year is that we’ll include a disciples meeting on the Saturday morning. The topic will be “How to deepen & cultivate our relationship with Guru Maharaj”.
When discussing with MahaLaxmi dasi whether we should or should not add this program to the weekend, she confirmed our initial thoughts by mentioning that this will actually be the most important part of the weekend and she encouraged us to include it. This, since our spiritual progress depends so much on cultivating that relationship.
For this program we choose a non-public location and a disciple meeting format to guarantee that we can discuss confidentially and amongst disciples only. We’ll try our best to facilitate this program to the best of our ability, but we encourage you to contribute & already think about your relationship with Maharaj: for example, what is it what you appreciate most on a daily basis, are there obstacles, disappointments or even doubts, how do you deal with them etc etc. Here I would like to mention that we should limit the discussion to our relationship with Guru Maharaj only, keeping it in line with the focus of the weekend. We encourage critical thinking, to our understanding Srila Prabhupada always encouraged that also, but the spirit should be to deal with the subject matter in a positive and progressive way.
The purpose of this program is that we would like to learn from each other, get new perspectives / approaches and help each other move forward. We do this by simply addressing the subject matter and getting the discussion started, and hopefully it will continue even beyond this program. We hope it will nourish and enhance your relationship with Guru Maharaj and with your god brothers and god sisters!
Please find all the details in the attachment. Required services, preparations etc. we put in RED. Kindly let us know via "reply all" how /where you can contribute. We would like to ask you for an individual contribution of € 5,- per disciple, which will be used to cover some of the expenses during the weekend like the cake, the other Prasadam preparations for the guests on Saturday etc. In case there would be any Laksmi left after the Vyasa Puja, we will donate this to the Radhadesh Mellows Festival.

Please accept my humble obeisances, Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
Somehow, by the kind grace of devotees, it will be my honor to join you this year. I am very much looking forward to serve with all of you and to have some wonderful association and kirtans in Radhadesh. For me it has been a rough few years and I am looking forward to this spiritual tonic.
Regarding the kitchen preps, you could see all in the overview Raya Ramananda Prabhu sent. I am not sure which of you will arrive when, but all of you are most welcome to join in making all the kitchen preps. We will try to do as much as possible ahead of time, so cake for VP will be made on Friday afternoon, as well as preps for the savory and chutney, and on Saturday afternoon, prior to the VP evening festival, we will be doing preparations for the Sunday feast: paneer making, cinnamon rolls, hanging yoghurt for the shrikhand, as well as whatever cutting fits in.
Just a little heads up from me. I am also available on whatsapp +381621691597 for anything before the 27th.

- Saturday we'll be using the main kitchen after 1.30 PM to prepare the main dish for guests & disciples for saturday evening (snack, chutney & drink). Those disciples who make an individual preparation as an offering for Maharaj and who don't have access to their own kitchen or need to finish something that was prepared at home can also use the main kitchen. For all this we bring our OWN ingredients. Please don't take anything from the kitchen itself (that includes spices!)
- Unfortunately we had to cancel the cooking of the Sunday feast with or group of disciples for a variety of reasons.
- Individual RNS disciples who are still there Sunday afternoon may still take the Sunday feast, but for this you'll have to pay the normal amount
- Please leave the kitchen neat & tidy. MahaLaxmi is in charge of the bhoga preparations, so if you have any questions, please approach her.
