State v. Lovejoy

Thursday, June 15th
1:00 pm

The young man that hit and killed Rich has accepted a plea deal and
will be going to prison. He will be sentenced and taken to prison on
this day.



We will be meeting at 1:00 on the Deschutes County Courthouse Stairs
to gather in remembrance of Rich and to give voice to our concerns
about drunk/impaired driving.



The Sentencing Hearing begins at 1:30 in Courtroom C. Victim Impact
Statements will be read in court. Everyone is welcome to attend and
have a voice through your presence or by writing a Victim Impact
Statement yourself about how this loss has affected you personally.
Friends of Rich or me can write a statement, which was part of the
plea deal. Rich’s death has touched more people than just me and my
family. You may read your letter or have one of the court Officers
(including the DA or DDAs) read it for you. Bring a copy and send a
copy to keaton....@DCDA.us



Please come, I can really use your support right now. This is going
to be really hard for my family and me. Since there is not going to
be a trial, we only have this brief moment to be there for Rich.
