Job Brief

We are looking for a Java Developer to manage the software development lifecycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. You will be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Your goal will be to build efficient, scalable, and secure server-side logic that powers high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications using Java 17/21 and the Spring Boot ecosystem.

  • API Design: Build and consume robust RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.

  • Architecture: Contribute to architectural discussions and implement microservices design patterns (e.g., Circuit Breaker, Saga, Event Sourcing).

  • Database Management: Write complex SQL queries and manage data persistence using JPA/Hibernate with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

  • Testing & Quality: Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers.

  • DevOps Integration: Containerize applications using Docker and assist in deployment via Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

  • Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate these problems through JVM tuning and code refactoring.
