Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Application Architect to provide technical leadership for Java-based enterprise applications supporting the MDHHS Infectious Disease (MDSS) system. The role involves designing scalable applications, guiding development teams, and ensuring alignment with business and security requirements.

Key Skills Required:

·         Java/J2EE, Java 8+

·         Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security

·         Hibernate / JPA

·         REST / SOAP Web Services

·         ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5

·         Oracle & PostgreSQL, SQL / PL-SQL

·         AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda)

·         Azure DevOps CI/CD, Git

·         Apache Kafka (Preferred)

·         OpenShift / Kubernetes

·         Agile Development

Responsibilities:

·         Lead architecture and development of enterprise Java applications.

·         Design REST APIs, integrations, and scalable solutions.

·         Support data migration (Oracle → PostgreSQL).

·         Collaborate with stakeholders and guide development teams.

·         Ensure security, performance, and system stability.

Experience:

·         12+ years Java development & architecture experience

·         8+ years Spring / Spring Boot

·         5+ years ReactJS/Angular & Cloud (AWS)

·         3+ years Azure DevOps CI/CD
