Role: Lead QA Engineer

Work location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

 

Job Description:

  • As a Senior QA engineer, maintaining a hybrid selenium framework using Java, TestNG
  • Integrating Automation test suites into GitHub and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines enabling continuous testing.
  • Collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Program teams to define end-to-end test strategies in agile sprints.
  • Implementing Data-driven testing and reusable automation utilities to improve test stability and maintainability.
  • Mentoring junior QA engineers and contributing to framework enhancements and best practices.
  • Daily participation in release readiness, Build validation, and production support.
  • Work closely with release managers on every release to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
  • Streamlining build validation and release sign-off processes.
  • Own pre-release performance testing and ensure timely escalation of any performance regression as high-priority risks.
  • Lead daily defect triage with cross-functional stakeholders to assess, prioritize, and assign newly reported issues.
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to review and validate pull requests, enabling early defect detection.
  • Regularly coordinating with offshore QA teams to track full functional test progress, discuss new updates, and defining new test strategies. "

 

Key Responsibilities:
