Location: St. Louis, MO (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Month

 

Job Description:

• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing system configurations for improved efficiency.
• Add necessary monitoring capabilities for improved observability.
• Verifies and validates system performance and provides recommendation.
• Interfaces with Development team to support BAU activities and deploy new releases in production.
• Provides recommendation on design, scaling and infra needs for improving resilience and reliability.
• Should be technology expert on domain areas of AWS, Kubernetes and cloud infra management to solve technical challenges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams when necessary.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize system failures and downtime.
• Responsible for reviewing architecture, design application deployment design and provide recommendation for improvements consulting with senior members on the team.
• Responsible for infrastructure and buildout and application deployments
• Have in-depth knowledge on CICD pipeline and ability to update changes as needed.
• Implement and maintain security measures, and vulnerability management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
• Build automation tools and necessary to possess strong scripting knowledge for automation
• Expert in troubleshooting and take necessary actions to resolve the situation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as software developers, network engineers, and database administrators, to ensure project success.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and solutions to meet business needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team to deploy new functionality tp production infra
• Follow MOP and Build production infra and deploy business functionality
• Provides recommendation on design, scaling and infra needs for improving resilience and reliability.

Job Qualifications

• Expert Knowledge in AWS services
• Expertise in Kubernetes and networking
• Intermediate knowledge on Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kafka.
• Knowledge on monitoring tools like Data Dog, Splunk and Kibana and build complex queries to support troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge on common LINUX operating systems and Python scripting
• knowledge and use of development / automation tools, application frameworks and testing / troubleshooting tools (some examples are Perl, Ruby, Python, Shell, BASH, traceroute, top, iostat, netstat, tcpdump, vmstat, ps, curl, etc)
• Expert system administration skills for operating systems (some examples are LINUX, UNIX,
• Expertise in building CICD pipelines and infrastructure as services leveraging terraform, ansible and CloudFormation.
