Responsibilities of an Agile Scrum Master

• Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
• Identify and resolve blockers that slow down the team.
• Should have financial domain exp.
• Escalate issues to management when required.
• Guide the team on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members to become self-organized and cross-functional.
• Shield the team from external interruptions and unplanned work.
• Maintain a sustainable pace of delivery.
• Facilitate communication between developers, QA, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency of project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Help refine and prioritize the product backlog.
• Ensure stories are well-defined, sized, and ready for development.
• Track sprint progress (velocity, burndown, blockers).
• Monitor metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Drive retrospective actions and process improvement initiatives.
• Encourage a culture of learning, experimentation, and innovation.
