Multithread test for testing reader-writer performance

Hello

I have seen examples where a function is executed by multiple threads but i want 2 functions -reader() and writer() to run simultaneously, where both share same data structures. wanted to test performance of locks .

I couldnt find a single example how to do that.

can you share any efforts you've made?  is it the work being done by the reader and writer that you care to measure, or the locking structure itself?
