Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Consultant – Post Go-Live Support & Enhancements
Location: Remote – PST, MST, or CST preferred
Engagement: 6 months, contract
Travel: ∼3-4 days/month to San Francisco, CA. Travel expenses reimbursed.

About the Engagement- Big SI completed a full Oracle HCM Cloud implementation for UCSF’s Healthcare Department, which went live ∼1 month ago. We are now entering the stabilization and enhancement phase. We need a hands-on Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to support post-go-live issues, drive enhancements, and ensure smooth operations across core HCM modules.
Role & Responsibilities
Provide post-go-live functional support, troubleshooting, and resolution for Oracle HCM Cloud modules. Gather requirements, design, and configure enhancements in Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Core HR, Compensation, and Talent Management. Support and validate bi-directional integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and PeopleSoft HCM.Work with HR stakeholders to prioritize and deliver fixes, enhancements, and configuration changes. Create functional specs, test scripts, and documentation for changes. Conduct UAT support, training, and knowledge transfer to internal UCSF team members. Participate in weekly status calls and onsite workshops during travel weeks.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Strong implementation/support experience in Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Core HR, Compensation, and Talent Management. Proven experience with Fusion to PeopleSoft integrations, including HCM data flows and middleware considerations.
- Experience in post-go-live support, hypercare, and enhancement cycles in a large, complex organization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work directly with HR, IT, and leadership.
- Familiarity with higher education or healthcare HR processes is a plus.
Engagement Details
Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension based on project needs.
PST, MST, or CST-based candidates preferred for easier collaboration.
Travel: 3-4 days/month onsite at UCSF, San Francisco.
All reasonable travel expenses reimbursed.Nice to have Oracle HCM Cloud certification in Recruiting, Core HR, or Talent Management.Experience supporting public sector or university clients.Exposure to OTBI/BI Publisher reporting for HCM modules.
