Role Summary
We are hiring two mid to senior-level Business Analysts to support strategic initiatives within Information Management (IM) Quality at Johnson & Johnson.
This role sits at the intersection of Data Quality, Regulatory Compliance, and Generative AI (Gen AI), enabling digital transformation across GxP-regulated environments. The BAs will work closely with Quality, Data Science,
and Technology teams to drive AI-enabled quality processes, data integrity, and compliant innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and Business stakeholders to gather and formalize requirements aligned with GxP and J&J compliance standards
- Translate business needs into validated requirements (URS/FRS), user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Drive initiatives focused on data integrity, data quality frameworks, and governance (ALCOA+ principles)
- Identify and define Gen AI use cases (e.g., deviation analysis, CAPA automation, document intelligence, audit readiness)
- Collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to define:
- Model inputs/outputs
- Validation and explainability requirements
- Risk and compliance controls for AI solutions
- Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance (QA), IT, Data Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs
- Support computer system validation (CSV)
- Develop and maintain documentation including:
- BRDs, FRS, traceability matrices
- Data lineage and data mapping artifacts
- Process flows and SOP-aligned documentation
- Support UAT and validation cycles, ensuring solutions meet both business and regulatory expectations
- Act as a bridge between business, IT, and AI/analytics teams in a highly regulated environment
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Life Sciences / Pharma environments
- Strong experience in IM Quality, data governance, and data quality management
- Proven exposure to GxP environments, regulatory compliance, and validation processes (CSV)
- Hands-on experience with Data, Analytics, or AI/ML-driven programs
- Foundational understanding of Generative AI (LLMs, prompt workflows, AI risk considerations)
- Experience working in Agile and hybrid validation environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially in regulated and cross-functional settings
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience working with Johnson & Johnson systems, processes, or quality frameworks
- Exposure to Gen AI use cases in Life Sciences (e.g., pharmacovigilance, quality events, regulatory documentation)
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Veeva, SAP, or data platforms
- Working knowledge of SQL, data profiling, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience supporting AI governance, model validation, and ethical AI frameworks
