A wonderful spot for brunch, La Note restaurant is located at 2377 Shattuck Ave, between Durant Ave and Channing Way in downtown Berkeley. You can't go wrong ordering the french toast with lavender honey, Lemon gingerbread pancakes, or any of the gorgeous omelets. Make sure to arrive early on the weekends to avoid the long lines, or call ahead if you have a party of six or more (510-843-1535). La Note is open Mon-Friday 8am-2:30pm, and on the weekends from 8am-3pm.
