I read the paper "Towards the Application of WebRTC Peer-to-Peer to Scale Live Video Streaming over the Internet" where an early variant/version of BemTV was described. The paper got me interested in the BemTV project. The project really seemed promising.
Therefore I want to ask why BemTV doesn't seem to be continued any longer. Furthermore, I want to ask if the developer(s) is/are currently working on something similar in this subject area.

Hey man,

Thanks for the interest in BemTV. Since the first release (which is much better than the one published on the paper) I could not update the plugin with the new versions of Clappr. I changed the job and could not spend time on the project (even my masters got abandoned).

I have plans to start a new version from scratch using hls.js (https://github.com/dailymotion/hls.js) and clappr hls.js plugin (https://github.com/flavioribeiro/clappr-hls-js-plugin) so flash will not be needed anymore. However, I'm moving to another country next week and things are messy right now :(

Best,
