And how can one describe the voice of Rafi ? If I have to choose just one song of Rafi to listen to, this will have to be that song. One can see that he sang ths song with true feeling. Little wonder, that this song continues to move any person who is emotionally moveable.

One very interesting fact about this song is that Talat Mahmood too has sung a cover version of this song. Yes, HMV tried to have cover versions of popular songs in those days, but the attempt failed because of stiff opposition. But this song managed to have its cover version recorded.

Dr Raman Abrol and Dr Biman Saikia crooned Aaja Panchhi Akela Hai from the 1957 film Nau Do Gyarah in the video that has gone viral on social media. While Dr Abrol sang the classic, Dr Saikia added a hilarious twist to the classic with his own quirky inputs to the lyrics of the song.
