I would like to use Soundtrap in the classroom. I think the idea of a weekly Podcast would be fun and educational and something the kids would really enjoy.

The options for creation in both of these online tools is similar to Apple's Mac computers that my students currently use. However, I have difficulty getting students to be creative and expand their knowledge in the Macs. They tend to do the same thing over and over. I hope to use these tools as inspiration for what is possible with the Macs and to draw comparisons to how the Macs are set up. In addition, to suggest that students use these online tools to create outside of class when they are not able to work on the Macs.

The use of We-video would work great in my classroom. For example, we are currently studying early civilizations. I could have my students create small movie clips that depicts the impact of those early civilizations as well as explain how these civilizations were created.

I would definitely like to use Sound Trap in my classroom at some point. I am scheduled to go to a podcast session at HECC, and I think I'll get a lot of great ideas about how to use this tool. I imagine students doing book reviews or something similar.

I like Sound Trap for the classroom! The students enjoy music, some of them really want to sing, dance, or rap. Having them create songs or raps about the content can be really useful for engaging them in a way they enjoy. I also like that their music can be shared via a link or by downloading the file which can make submitting their final products nice and easy!

I plan to fully utilize the new features to canvas quizzes. I love the variety of question types that they could possibly see on ILearn.

I have used and like the new Canvas quiz features.  We have created 2 quizzes that somewhat mirror the performance task that will be required of the students on ILEARN.  On one occasion, we put one stimulus that had information about water usage and how to conserve water.  The students had to answer questions using this information.  Then, we imported an actual water bill, and students calculated how much could be saved by using some of the conservation ideas.

I am looking forward to using the new quiz feature in Canvas. I think it will provide a lot more variety in the types of questions that we will be able to use.

I can see using the WeVideo in science for the upcoming chemistry unit.  Student could present their element super Hero/ Villian using the video and then different classes could view the different elements.

For WeVideo my Bio students will be able to create their mitosis videos, we haven't decided yet if we are doing claymation or a square dance.  For soundtrap I envision my college and careers students creating a podcast of a fieldtrip to a college or university.
