Hi mate, can you get any results without the hash option? It's basically trying to match the hash (usually pirated version, res/length etc..) of the video along with the also pirated version of the subs.
Because it means that the subtitles on open subtitles matching via hash have been designed specifically for the exact same video file that you have. That makes it more likely that the subtitle timings will be in sync with the video.
I've had a lot more trouble with this same issue recently. While in past years I was able to search for subtitles and it would almost always find them, now it doesn't, and I have to download manually. Is it enough that Emby recognizes the title? or is there different metadata that it matches on? such as imdb id or something like that? because i have saved login information for opensubtitles plugin, and I know there are many subtitles available for this title, and emby recognizes the title as what it is. thanks
so based on this it checks for Name if it doesn't find anything with the Hash, and only goes to IMDB ID if it doesn't find anything with the Name? so if emby server loads the movie with the proper name, but can't find anything in the subtitle search, what else could be wrong?
