There is no USB lead supplied with the phone so you either have to buy one or a dongle if you actually want to be able to transfer tracks onto the phone, you can only listen to the music through supplied headphones which is without hyperbole, and are rubbish. I have only had the Samsung E250 for 2 weeks and already I have seen this as the best phone I have had so far! There is quite a lot of memory and it can take pictures, record videos, play songs and much more. Plus, the phone comes with earphones, so if you want to listen to music privately, you do not have to worry about the added cost. With most other phones, earphones have to be purchased seperately.
In conclusion, I would say that this phone is definitely worth buying if you would like a phone that can be used for many things. If you only want to call and text, it is better to stick with a Nokia.
I am planing to get this phone in lilac for my birthday in sptember but other people say that the battery life is rubbish, is this true ? As this is putting me off!!! please reply if you know how good the battery life is. thanks
I got this phone for my birthday when I was 12, and loved it! It has a great easy-to-use function and a great battery life, as long as you dont use the llights and sounds much. I have had it for now 5 months and it still works 100%. As long as you charge it every night, and avoid contact with water, and try not to drop it, you should have no problems with it. It comes in a few colours: Black, silver and lilac. I have the lilac one. I am thinking of buying this phone. It looks great and It is a type of phone I would love to have! But from the reviews I have read I am starting to have second thoughts. The songs that you have in your mp3 or on your sd card can you still play them without using the earphones?? Please can someone reply and also say if it is a phone worth getting? ?
I have tried to send a song from my comp to the phone via bluetooth is sent but shows a blue circle with a line through if i try to copy to phone it says memory full but there is not much on it anyway. help!!!
My stepson had the E250 as a Xmas present. He agrees with all the comments about how good the phone is, however he has come across a problem with the charging point. It is constructed in such a flimsy way that he has trouble with this. This has resulted in the pins becoming bent. He does not handle the phone with roughness but treats it with kid gloves.
I agree about the earphones they just fall out all the time i also have earbuds and would like to know were i could get an adaptor to be able to use the audio side! but great little phone for the money,
i have bought a 4gb micro sd hc card for my e250 but the phone will not view the files on it. the phone recognises a card has been installed but it will not move files to the card either from the internal memory. Has anyone got any remedies for me.

hello i have a samsung e250, several days after i bought a 256mb memory card obviously its a sd card and i got a sandisk transflash adapter with it i put the sd card into it then put it into my laptop and it does not come up on my computer does any one know how to fix it if you do contact me on kier...@live.co.uk thanks.

i have had the samsung e250 for about 4 months now. i think it has got good durability becasue i have dropped it and everythign and it has not stopped working or smashed once. i also like the colour. i was also not expencive to buy.
Use Super(c) Converter (freeware) to re-encode your video files to 3gp (resolution 172144 is paramount for the files to be playable) and you can carry around 20 full length films ona 2gb Micro-SD card.
As each minute of video footage takes up only 1 meg, this makes the storage capacity available equivalent to about 16Gb off my hard drive. For a total price of 40 pounds I am astounded!
All in all an excellent phone. I have already purchased another one in case this one breaks. Experience has taught me to always turn the screen face in (ie. against my leg) when carrying the phone in my pocket as a cracked screen ruined my last Samsung phone.

I would like to confirm what contributor Hilary Kendal had to say I to bought a Samsung E250 which after Aprox 4 months developed a problem with the screen despite it not being dropped sat on or impacted in any way. Carphone Warehouse accused me of damaging the phone and would not replace it this is not a problem with just this model but if you go to Samsung SGH-900 Support Forum Expansys UK you will see that the cracked screen seems to be a an issue with Samsung phones.
Would be intrested to hear if anybody else has had this problem with the E250
I had a similar experience to Hilary Kendal. The screen became blurred and Samsung said it was due to misuse, even though nothing has happened to it; repair would cost 50 (it cos 30). It is therefore not fit for purpose. I have complained to Trading Standards and have bought a Nokia.
