From 21 June you'll be able to enter preferences for the semester based on the units of study you've successfully enrolled in. For most students, you'll be able to log in to access this in Sydney Timetable.

For example, many OLE units are delivered online for you to take at your own pace. If you don't see an OLE unit on your timetable, check the unit outline to see how it's delivered. Check the weekly schedule section to see if there are any attendance requirements.

In your timetable you can also click on the venue hyperlink to access information on the accessibility of each venue, including details on accessible equipment, hearing augmentation/visual impairment support and building features such as wheelchair accessible entrances, bathrooms and lifts available.

Timetables are subject to changes and will be updated on a regular basis. Please check regularly to ensure you have the correct current information. Thereare likely to be continuing room changes throughout the year.

Some teaching events are set up for both online and on campus events and your personal timetable will show both a room number and zoom code link. You are expected to attend the teaching event on campus.

Teaching events are scheduled on the hour, although all teaching should end at least ten minutes before the hour, as this allows time for breaks and to travel between teaching events whether they are on campus or are being held online.

If you have back to back on-campus and online teaching events, you can either book study space so you have somewhere to go for your online teaching or you can locate a space on campus in areas such as the library or Silberrad.

You can check your departmental timetable to check that all the modules you are enrolled on are showing on your personal timetable. If you have any missing teaching on your timetable and the teaching event is in less than a week, please let your department know.

If you've changed modules/courses and your timetable is still showing the old modules, it can take up to 72 hours for the new modules to show on your timetable. The system updates at 10pm in the evening.

If you are having problems with your email log in, you can find out more from IT services. If you are still having problems logging on, please forward a screen print of any error messages you can see to sfi...@essex.ac.uk

Your Department or School will have told you if this affects your programme. If you have face-to-face teaching scheduled but are unable to attend, or you want to know how to access online teaching, please contact your department directly.

Your departmental timetable provides information for all modules and the times, days and weeks that associated teaching events are scheduled. You can use this timetable to see when teaching is scheduled while you are waiting for your personal timetable to be updated.

The University week-by-week calendar shows the timetable week numbers and corresponding dates. It also gives an overview of the dates for the autumn, spring and summer terms, vacation periods, bank holidays in England and welcome week.

The Timetabling and Room Booking Team aims to produce an equitable and workable timetable, designed to meet defined constraints, including optionality within courses, and the availability of appropriate teaching rooms and facilities.

The Registration Timetable provides a schedule of when students can begin registering for classes for a specific semester. The timetable provides a chart with the minimum credits and the corresponding first date to register for each student level (e.g., undergraduate, graduate, law, nondegree). Students can determine their "minimum credits to register" by adding their total credits earned to the number of credits for which they are currently enrolled. Enrollment appointments are set when shopping carts open for a given semester and are not adjusted after that date.

The Office of the University Registrar is committed to making its websites accessible to all users.
Please send comments or suggestions about making accessibility improvements to regi...@psu.edu.

Before each teaching period begins, you will be given an opportunity to indicate your preferred classes. Please note only subjects with teaching period Semester 1 and 2 have Preference mode. Subjects with Non-standard (e.g. W2948) and Terms (e.g. Term 1) teaching periods will go straight into Allocation Adjustment mode (which is explained in the next point).

Allocate+ is then closed while the system sorts preferences and allocates students to classes that will generate the best possible clash-free timetable. Your preferences will be taken into account where possible.

You can use Allocate+ to access your personalised timetable. Allocate+ will automatically display any subjects to which you have been allocated (flagged with a green icon), and you can also search for other subjects.

CMIS Go should be your first point of reference for checking your timetable, however you can subscribe your timetable via Google Calendar and add it as a secondary calendar. For instructions go to the Moodle page

If you have problems with your timetable, or it's incorrect, check with the MyPort Information Hub that you're registered for the correct modules and the correct amount of credits in the Student Records system. The MyPort Hub will work with the central timetabling unit to investigate further.

If you're a current student, the MyPort Hub is your first port of call for any aspect of University life. From questions about your course, to what support services are available to you - contact the MyPort team to find what you need:

If you want to change the units you are taking or your assigned tutorial slot, talk to your school office. You can check the unit timetable to find out if any new unit you want to take will fit into your timetable.

It will take at least 48 hours for changes to your timetable to show after you change units. You can check the unit timetable to find out lecture times, and ask your school what small group teaching you should attend. If after three days your teaching still does not appear on your personalised timetable, please contact your school office.

Your personalised timetable will show your time slots where you have been scheduled for labs. In some schools, students are assigned a lab slot throughout the year, but may not be required to attend for every session. Also the location of lab sessions may vary during the year. The details of exactly when and where you are scheduled for labs are available from your school.

The Culture and Community Engagement team (formerly Arts and Culture Projects) brings together university expertise with civic and sector partners, acting as a bridge nationally and locally between higher education, business and local people.

You must be fully registered, enrolled on the correct units and allocated to your teaching activities for your individual student timetable to be automatically populated. You can check your registration status and which units you are enrolled to take via UoB eVision

There are some units where students are split into a number of different groups and you need to be allocated to a group before it shows on your personal timetable. These units will not show on your timetable until this has happened.

In the meantime you can search for teaching activity via the Find Timetable function in MyBedsTimetable and add these sessions to your timetable. Please note that you should not attend classes that you are not permitted to attend. There is a help guide video on this page to assist you in adding activities to your timetable.

You are advised to check your timetable daily for the first few weeks as it can be subject to change. To find out where and when activities are being held visit Student timetables (25 September 2023 to 22 September 2024) and select your individual timetable using your Student ID number. See our New students FAQs to support you with more specific timetabling queries.

Draft of timetables for fall semester 2024 are now available. Please note that we are currently working on the schedule and there might be some slight changes, but you can always access your timetable in Ugla which is updated regularly.

All teaching activities that require participation at a specified day and a time must be timetabled within the timetabling system in order to avoid timetable clashes, to enable complete timetables to be provided to students and staff, and for the University to manage and oversee space utilisation.

Resources Scheduling Services and Education Resources Officers work collaboratively with academic staff to build and publish the University timetable and provide expert advice to Colleges as they plan their academic offerings for the next year.

To view your Outlook Timetable calendar you need to be recorded against all the classes that you are teaching in the timetable system Syllabus Plus. Your College Education Resources Officer will be able to update the class details. Please note that this may not be possible when classes are team taught.

You can find more information and tips about using your online timetable below. A guide with the below information including screenshots can be found here: Online timetable help for students (MS Word , 798kb)

If your timetable includes two activities taking place on different campuses with limited travel time (fewer than 30 minutes), the system will give you a warning. The warning symbol is a walking figure in a yellow box and is visible in all views of the timetable.

Activities that will be recorded have a symbol, a green "play button" icon, which is visible in all views of the timetable. This indicates that a recording of the activity will be made available through the VLE.
