The1433 Decade Resistors are primarily intended for precision measurement applications where their excellent accuracy, stability, and low zero resistance are important. They are convenient resistance standards for checking the accuracy of resistance-measuring devices and are used as components in dc and audio-frequency applications.

IET continues to produce the 1433 Series Decade Resistors to the same exacting specs as GenRad.

The 1433 Decade Resistor is available in 3 to 11 decades, from 0.001 ohms to 100 Mohms per step, in a single housing . Over 36 different models are available to provide complete flexibility in purchasing only the decades you need in your application. Rack mount versions and version with handles are available. The versions with handles are ideal for mobile calibration laboratories for easy handling.

All 1433 have gold-plated, tellurium-copper, low-thermal-emf binding posts to minimize connection errors and provide long life. The binding posts use industry standard 3/4 inch spacing and shorting link is also provided to connect ground to the low binding post when needed.

Each decade has ten resistors in series, silver-alloy switch contacts ensure stability of resistance, and minimize zero resistance. Zero resistance is typically less than 0.001 ohms/decade.

The resistors used in construction minimize the effects of residual reactance making them ideal for AC resistance measurements. Click on the application note link on left side of page to see IET's 1433 frequency response application note.

Employees have new rights, and employers have significant new responsibilities under Washington's Paid Sick Leave law, which was passed by voters in 2016 as part of Initiative 1433. As of Jan. 1, 2018, employers in Washington State are required to provide paid sick leave to their employees.

If you are an employee in Washington State, your employer is now required to provide you with paid sick leave. The paid sick leave law was one of several changes to worker rights mandated by Initiative 1433, approved by Washington voters in 2016.

You may begin using earned paid sick leave 90 calendar days after your first day of work with your employer. If you separate from your employer and are rehired within 12 months, any days you worked before leaving your job will count toward this 90-day period.

If you have a complaint or suspicion about your employer not providing you with paid sick leave or violating your other rights under the Minimum Wage Act, you can report it to L&I. Complete the form below online or by mail, and include any relevant information or records. Mail or bring the form and records to the L&I office where the business is located.

There are only a few exceptions. They include employees who are doctors, lawyers, or dentists, as well as most executive managers who are paid on a salary (rather than an hourly) basis, if they supervise two or more full-time employees. More information: Administrative Policy ES.A.1, Minimum Wage Act Applicability.

I'm trying to get set up with my PCIe-1433 card on Windows 10, Labview 2017 32-bit, VAS1710. Card is recognized in device manager as a PCIe-1433. It also shows up in MAX, but its name appears with a long string appended and when I click on it I only get very basic information about the card on the right. No information about channels or cameras. The PoE Basler camera I've attached to it does not power on.

Hi chr2,

Just for confirmation: I'm assuming you mean PoCL and not PoE since the PCIe-1433 is a Camera Link frame grabber.

Regarding the PoCL feature, that should be enabled based on the camera file for your camera. More details on that can be found here.

Drivers were installed before the card was, and I did restart after installing. I just tried resetting the NI MAX database and restarting - this did not help. I've attached screenshots showing which driver the card is using (from Device Manager) and what the card looks like in MAX.

4. Under "General Settings", you should see "Show only devices registered with VISA". Make sure this is checked. If it is already checked, uncheck it (by selecting the other option), and then recheck it.

Thanks rrobe, in my case the "show only devices registered with VISA" was checked. After unchecking and restarting, the long string changed to something like Instr::VISA::etc, but I still don't have the regular camera channel or frame grabbing options.

I tried this card in a few other machines, and in some (same OS, same version of Vision Acquisition) it worked! So I think the firmware on the card is fine. But unfortunately I don't have full-time access to the machine on which the card worked.

Hi chr2,

If I'm reading rrobe's instructions correctly, we need to toggle that setting again so that the "Show only devices registered with VISA" is checked. Give that a try, and confirm that the card still shows up in Device Manager as being associated with the IMAQ driver.

Can you also try one of the examples in LabVIEW for IMAQ? You can find these by navigating to "Help >> Find Examples..." to open the Example Finder, then navigating to "Hardware Input and Output >> Vision Acquisition >> NI-IMAQ >> High-Level." I would recommend trying HL Snap with the interface name set to img0 (which should be the default).

However, I did finally get it working. I noticed I had some updates to NI Vision queued in the NI update manager, so I let those install. All the NI software on this machine was installed from last summer through fall, so I guess there was just a bad driver in those older packages, and the latest updates fix it. That explains why it worked on another machine: fresh install.

I've recently opened up 1433 outbound connection from my workplace firewall to connect to a Azure SQL database. I am using PowerBI Desktop as my client on my machine and using the standard PowerBI connector to Azure SQL Database.

All data in transit coming from any Azure SQL Database or going to any Azure SQL Database is encrypted. Azure SQL Database does not allow non-encrypted connections. All this is happening on TCP port 1433. You cannot communicate to Azure SQL Database on a different port.

When a client first attempts a connection to SQL Server / SQL Azure, it sends an initial connection request. Consider this a "pre-pre-connection" request. At this point the client does not know if SSL/Encryption is required and waits an answer from SQL Server/SQL Azure to determine if SSL is indeed required throughout the session (not just the login sequence, the entire connection session). A bit is set on the response indicating so. Then the client library disconnects and reconnects armed with this information.

When you set Encrypt to true you avoid the "pre-pre-connection", and you are preventing any proxy from turning off the encryption bit on the client side of the proxy, this way attacks like man-in-the-middle attack are avoided.

Table of Contents Title 15.2. Counties, Cities and Towns Subtitle II. Powers of Local Government Chapter 14. Governing Bodies of Localities Article 4. Ordinances and Other Actions by the Local Governing Body 15.2-1433. Codification and recodification of ordinances

Any locality may codify or recodify any or all of its ordinances, in permanently bound or loose-leaf form. Such ordinances may be changed, altered or amended by the governing body, and ordinances or portions thereof may be deleted and new material may be added by the governing body. Such changes, alterations, amendments or deletions and such new material shall become effective on the effective date of the codification or recodification.

Ordinances relating to zoning and the subdivision of land may be included in any codification or recodification of ordinances; however, no change, alteration, amendment, deletion or addition of a substantive nature shall be made and no new material of a substantive nature shall be added to such ordinances unless, prior to the date of adoption of such codification or recodification, notice of such proposed changes, alterations, amendments, deletions or additions shall be published as required by the Code of Virginia and public hearings held thereon as provided by the Code of Virginia for adoption and amendment of zoning and subdivision ordinances. Renumbering or rearranging of sections, articles or other divisions of any such ordinance shall not be deemed to be a change, alteration or amendment of a substantive nature.

Any such codification or recodification may be adopted by reference by a single ordinance, without further publication of such codification or recodification or any portions thereof. The ordinance adopting such codification or recodification shall comply with all laws of the Commonwealth and any provision of any city or town charter requiring posting or publication of ordinances or notice of intent to adopt ordinances. At least one copy of such codification or recodification or a complete set of printer's proofs of the text thereof shall be made available for public inspection in the office of the clerk of the governing body in which such codification or recodification is proposed to be adopted.

Supplements for such codifications or recodifications may be prepared from time to time at the direction of the governing body of the locality, either as units or on a replacement page basis; however, where replacement pages are prepared, a distinguishing mark or notation shall be placed on each replacement page to distinguish it from original pages and pages of other supplements. No further adoption procedure shall be required for supplements or replacement pages in which no substantive change is made in ordinances previously and validly adopted by the governing body of the locality. If changes, alterations, amendments, deletions or additions of a substantive nature are made in any such supplement, then such supplement shall be adopted by the governing body in the same manner provided by general or special law.
