Results

Quite a few Belpark athletes were busy over the weekend running with Rathfarnham WSAF and Liffey Valley AC in the Dublin Intermediate cross country championships.

Niall Somers and John Brennan were on the men's team that finished in 5th place, with Niall putting in what was described as a gutsy run to come in just off the podium but easily best of the Rathfarnham athletes in 4th place.

Eilis Connery, Ellen Murphy and Helen French were on the Rathfarnham Women's team that took 2nd place. Eilis put a long lay-off with illness behind her by finishing 7th in the race while 2011 Belpark Club Champion Murphy scored for the team in a very respectable 19th place.

Julie Anne Bowden raced for Liffey Valley who were just a few points off the third place team position.
