Awards
Belpark will be picking up two club championships at the Triathlon Ireland Awards dinner this weekend.
The club has won the Mixed and the Women’s championships for 2011 - a great achievement for everyone who raced this season.
Manchester Trip Postponed
The weekend away to the Manchester Velodrome has been postponed until the new year due to circumstances beyond the club’s control.
There was great take-up for this trip and we are planning to go ahead with it sometime in the new year so keep an eye out on the club’s website and facebook for the new date.
Cycle Leaders Needed
The club needs a few volunteers who are willing to lead Groups A & B on the Saturday cycle once every five weeks.
Some experience of the Saturday spins is required but apart from that responsibilities are not too onerous as the route will be determined in advance. The main task will be ensuring the group stays together and doesn’t go too fast or too slow.

New Turbo and Core Strength Session
Beginning November 9th, Belpark turbo training will begin at the Gloucester St Sport and Recreation Centre each Wednesday evening.
The session will last 90mins, will cost just €3 and will be led by Mark Lacey.
Training This Week
Tuesday
RUN: Running sessions with Rathfarnham have now moved from Bushy Park to Nutgrove Park for the winter.
The meet-up is still at 6:30pm. Changing facilities (very basic!) are available in the football clubhouse.
Thursday
RUN: Rathfarnham are running a gym session in clubhouse (main street in Rathfarnham village) at 18:30. Core strength is vital for both running and triathlon and can help you stay injury free next year and even make you that bit faster!
Friday

All reports are that new coach Stephen Early is playing a blinder so anyone wishing to step up their swimming over the winter needs to get to this session.
Pool entrance is via .the underground car park on Temple Street. The session is now 60 minutes. We charge €7 for this session (4 for students) to cover pool hire and coaching costs.
