For those who may be interested, here are four tree giveaways taking place during Earth Month:

 

1. Nashville Tree Foundation at the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival

🌸When? This Saturday, April 13, 9:30am until supply runs out 🌸Where? Nashville Public Square Park 🌸Tell me more! The Nashville Tree Foundation is bringing 250 cherry trees to the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival! Come experience Music City's best celebration of Japanese Culture: a full day of Japanese music, dance, martial arts, food, and more. These cherry trees are first come, first serve. 2. The Tennessee Environment Council at Richland Park

In honor of Earth Month, the Tennessee Environmental Council is hosting a native tree seedling giveaway at Richland Park Farmers Market, Saturday, April 13, 9:00am - 12:00pm (first come, first served). They will have species like cherrybark oak, tulip poplar, river birch, willow oak, white oak, and some others! Come join the TEC if you would like native seedlings to plant at your home, farm or in your community! 

 

3. Nashville Tree Foundation at the Nashville Earth Day Celebration

🌎 When? Saturday, April 20, 11:00am-5pm (or until supply runs out) 🌎 Where? Centennial Park Bandshell 🌎 Tell me more! It's the Nashville Tree Foundation's biggest tree giveaway of the year as they bring 850 trees to the Earth Day Festival, thanks to their partners at Amazon. Come for the free trees, and stay for the celebration of our planet. Shop local growers and makers, jam to some live music, or catch an expert at EarthTalks Tent. Species available:

4. Nashville Tree Foundation in Madison

Thanks to a partnership with Kroger and Arbor Day Foundation, NTF is offering free trees to residents of Madison! All reserved trees must be picked up on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. Nashville Tree Foundation can not guarantee tree availability after this time. Limit 5 trees per household. Trees will be in 1 to 3 gallon containers. The event takes place at Amqui Station & Visitors Center.
