2023 Intl Day of Forests, Plant/Donate a Trees

SUB: DONATE/PLANT A TREE 2023 CAMPAIGN:
Greetings from Greening Uganda. As the World Commemorates the International Day of Forests 21st March, By this mail, we’re inviting all Ugandan Companies, Businesses, Ngos, Schools, Churches, Mosques, to join us from 21st March to 16th April 2023 for our Mass Tree Planting PROJECTS, Green Schools, Community Tree Planting, Degraded Forest Lands Restoration, and Trees For Tourism. This campaign runs twice a year coinciding with our rainy seasons March to May, and September to December, our activities focus on Urban Schools, Urban places of Worship, Urban Hospitals, Budongo & Bugoma forest degraded lands, and by the end of 60 days, a total of 1,000,000 Trees, will have been planted. This comes as a response to Climate Change to address the increasing heat waves, trees will be able to provide the most needed shade for the communities identified above. Similarly, planted trees will help carbon sequestering by capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and transforming it into biomass through photosynthesis.

HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
As the Proverbs goes “Omusezi Atandikira Awaka” Literally mean a “Night Dancer starts in his Compound” Look around within your factory/industry compound, plant trees, e.g. Shade, Fruits, Wind Breakers, Air Cleaners plants such as “PACHIRA AQUATICA” etc. You can join the Green Caravan and DONATE Trees to those who cannot afford or those schools that have space for trees, visit the Green Caravan project at https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.998009233579022&type=3 We have a wide list of Schools with huge pieces of land to plant trees, DONATE TREES, Participate in the planting exercise.
As a Ugandan, you can DONATE Trees to your former School/College or your Church/Mosque etc
