Okay, Gang.

I’m in need of assistance on a music search. The last several years, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been tagged on Facebook in a video of a gal playing Carol of the Bells/Ukrainian Bell Carol on an extended bell tree. Now I have a friend asking about playing it (her, not me, but let’s not rule that out) next year. I’ve done a moderate search for music. Does anyone know of any arrangement for solo or bell tree of Carol of the Bells?

Thanks for your help! Wishing you all a joyous Christmas!

Julie,
There's a Fantasy on Carol of the Bells. Very easy. Psaltery Music Publications.
Look under solos. It can also be a duet.

There is a performance on Facebook performed by Sarah Juhasz, posted by Fritz Wiese. I don't know the arranger or any other info, but maybe that will give you a start. It's quite difficult. Good luck!

Yes, that is the post that I’m referring to in which I’ve been tagged multiple times.

Thanks, Carol, I’ll look into that piece.

Julie,

The arrangement of Carol of the Bells that was in the video you were talking about was a transcription of a piano arrangement that she did.  As far as I know, that arrangement for bells is not published.  However, there is a solo of Carol of Bells by Malia Anderson published by Jeffers.  It would work on a bell tree if you wanted.  I’m not sure if it is still in print but you could ask Jeffers if they still have it.  I just searched and couldn’t find it, but a friend the other day she mentioned she saw it.  Another option might be to look at Maggs quartet arrangement of it.  The piano could play 3 parts and bells take melody line.

Well, pooh.  I guess I don't have psaltery music up yet.  Here it is on Jeffers.  They don't list it as bell tree, but I've played it as bell tree and another person played chimes.

It's George Winston's Carol of the Bells.
