I just wanted to announce a meeting down at marks shop this saturday.
I will probably be down there early but actual meeting time would be
the normal 7:00pm

try to post your intention to come but even if you just show up it
would be great.

Good timing....

I'll be there, hay I'm on vacation but if your meetings are always on Sat @ 7pm I won't be able to normally get there. I work from 6 pm to 6 am every Fri, Sat, Sun and every other Mon. I leave for work around 5:15 pm from the Lake Samish area and travel to Lynden. I get home in the morning between 6:45 am to 8 am depending on how the Darigold plant in Lynden is running. 

Now when you say Marks I gather you mean this 141 W Kellogg Rd address I see referenced. One door east of Trinity Western. This shop, is it something next to a private residence or in a business park? What am I looking for? I don't want to walk into someone front room and end up in jail or something. I am not from the Bellingham area and I seldom go into that area of the woods. Looks like Maps on my cell phone will get me there but what am I looking for?

Lets see Projects I am working on ...... I always meant to write that down.

1. I have a Bot Mill Axis 3D Printer kit I am still trying to make work. (Some self inflicted pain here.)

2. I've been pretending I am writing some software for the last 10 years are so. I am still beating around with VB6 and have gotten surprising far. I have a package that monitors and controls equipment. I recently added IPAD, Blackberry, Android connections to remotely access the network. There is a lot involved including an inventory system, Databases, RS 485 network polling programs, a lots of instrumentation, form design tools, Graphing programs, alarm monitoring and a few hundred other things. Oh yeah I build a G Code program for the little lathe I converted to CNC and I have a 12 X 36 inch CNC Router, Pan Break, hand shear, Spot welder, Oxy Propane torch plus a lots of color glass rods to make jewelry, fire brick, castable refractory, High Temp mortar, elements and controls to build some klins, I recently wrote my own PID software that I think will handle the 500 device inputs channels I have. I recently bought a digital manometer, 4-20 milliamp current loop calibrator, RTD calibrator and Thermocouple calibrator. I am a old time machine language programmer and do a lot of my on electronics. Yeah, I also wrote a geneolgy program that uses a historical event time line to show what was going on when you select peoples ages on the tree. 

I have so many half finished projects it would take forever to even write them down. Someones needs to shoot me with one of those tranquilizer darts are something. Before my head explodes. Kidding  

The big thing to keep in mind here is that I know almost nothing about any of this stuff and have had almost no training so if you be warned, don't expect much but I'll add what I can when I can make it to the meetings.

Ha! just checked my email, 2nd day running--finally got myself a new laptop after about 12 years--just got in from a birthday party so won't make it tonight.

Running pretty ragged this winter trying to keep up with school. Glad you guys are giving it another try. I've dropped just about everything, even behind now on firewood...
