Dear hacker wannabees,
It's bad form to call yourself a hacker. You have to actually make
something cool for your peers to call you one. We have at least 3
people beginning together on NAND to Tetris, Building a Computer from
first Principles, meeting next Friday, September 18. The homework is
to read lecture 1 and chapter 1 at
http://nand2tetris.org/course.php
and begin project 1. At the meeting we will address any problems with
the exercise. Anyone is invited to join us, no prerequisite knowledge
is assumed. We will mix in beginning Python programming before we get
to chap 6 where a language is needed.
This is expected to be a self paced lab where you study at home and
bring questions. There is no fee. We meet at The Foundry 1515 N Forest
St Bellingham and you do not need to be a member.
