Information Technology Specialist 3, Administrative Computing

 

About the Position: The ITS 3 provides analysis, design, programming, maintenance and technical support for enterprise-wide administrative applications, some being mission-critical. Typical applications will be the Student System, Financial Aid, Alumni, and other central administrative applications. This position requires knowledge of relational databases, computer programming languages, and operating system tools. 

This position is part of a Public School Employees of WWU bargaining unit. New employees are required to meet the membership requirements of the current collective bargaining agreement within 30 calendar days of employment.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of relational databases
• 2 years of application development
• 1 year experience using: SQL, operating system tools
• 4 years of information technology experience
• Experience in at least one of the following: Groovy, Grails, Java, C#, OR C++
