Just realised this may not have reached you via the other lists I've sent it to...
Hope you can come.
All the best,

Hello fellow Solar Supporter!

I hope this email reaches you – from old Bellingen Solar lists & others with possible interest – and that you don’t mind me contacting you at this crucial moment in the progress of solar – and all renewable energy – in Australia.

On behalf of ‘Solar Citizens’* (detail below) I’m inviting you to gather outside 5 Church Street for letter writing & petition-signing to celebrate solar in Australia and ensure it has a bright future….

WHEN:
10.30am Wednesday 20th August
WHERE:
Outside 5 Church Street, Bellingen
WHAT:
To enjoy a cuppa while writing letters and signing petitions to our cross bench senators about solar power and the Renewable Energy Target.

**Please bring a stamped envelope and a pen**

I‘ve put my hand up to call people together because I believe this is a crucial moment to demonstrate the strength of Bellingen residents’ and business peoples’ support for Renewable Energy.

There’s no question that the future of solar in Australia hangs in the balance --- at the whim of a handful of independent/ cross-bench politicians in the Senate who will be voting later this month.
It’s up to us to make sure those senators stay strong and protect the most important policy for the solar industry in Australia, the Renewable Energy Target.

Warm regards,
Fiona Crosskill
 Tel: 0412 198 226

P.S. Please tell neighbours & others, & bring along friends and colleagues... the more the merrier.

______________
* This ‘Cuppa Sunshine’ is an initiative of Solar Citizens, an independent, community-based organisation bringing together millions of solar owners and supporters to grow and protect solar in Australia. For one week in August, thousands of people will gather all around Australia to put ol’ fashioned pen to paper and show cross bench senators just how deeply Australians care about a strong solar future.

Hi Fiona,

Unfortunately I am away on the 20th however I support this project.  I have a 10Kw system (back to the grid) on my property installed under the 60c/Kwh NSW Govt. contract.

Regards,

Barb Moore

Hi Fiona,
Got this too late, but happy to write a letter in if you've got a draft I could go off?
THanks,
Jason
