Sustainable
Building Forum-
Water, Grey Water, Composting Loos.
7:30, Wed 22 September
CWA rooms, north end of Church St
Rajiva of the Bundagen Community will talk about waterless composting toilets, grey-water systems and do-it-yourself ferro cement tanks.
He will be joined by Nick Radford who has studied ecotechnology at Southern Cross University under the legendary expert and activist, Leigh Davidson. Nick is experienced in building council approved composting toilets.
Also on hand will be Andrew Rickert, the River Health Projects Officer at Council. He will be able to answer questions on erosion, drainage, and water management as well as share some creative ideas for rainwater collection and water gardens.
This should be a terrific evening, open to all. Bring a gold coin along with your wisdom and your questions.
Just wanted to send my apologies: I won't be able to attend the next
forum, or any for the foreseeable future, as my partner is seriously
ill.
If anyone is keeping notes from the sessions I would be interested in
seeing them at some time in the future.
The group is a great initiative and a wonderful local resource - I
look forward to being able to join you again,
Gwen
Um, Rajiva is the main presenter and its already in the paper and notices around town, so I hope he can come.
Gull asked me to facilitate, but I’m working on the assumption that others are coming to set up, cater etc. Can someone confirm that? I’ve only been peripherally involved so i don’t know how you’ve all been working it.
Also can Rajiva, Nick and Andrew get me some kind of bio if they want anything read out?
Thanks,
Jason
Ps Who can whoever is getting the key open up by 7 at the latest?
