!! Homecoming Success !!
Pep Rally – Our “varsity dance crew” with Belles – put on a rip-roaring performance…. Literally. It was like a "Dancing with the Stars" skit. Gift and roses were well received by our Belles, Cheerleader, and Booster buddies.
Friday Night Lights!!!
Tailgating kicked off with Jesse setting up the BEST tents, tables, displays of merchandise, and our 2014 Fall Program. Grillin with “Cardinal Charcoal” made the tastiest food out there! Wishin there was a cook-off contest. Best hamburgers ever! The hot dogs could’ve fetched $5! Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño poppers were thrown on. The Boudin was incredibly good - YUM! Our “booth” was exceptional. Should we do it again next week.... BHS vs Lamar?!?!?
Flash Gordon… our own BHS ’94 Homecoming King (full ride Rice Football scholarship & NFL player) hung out with us.
To our left was Lacrosse… If Anne Marie Falloure is involved, you know 5star food is available.
Across the “street” were huge groups… Belles, cheerleaders, and the PTO. PTO rocked with all kinds of Yummy, Healthy food. We all ventured over there for a free plate or 2!
To our right was the Marching Band (in their Awesome new uniforms)… very organized !!! We got a rocking performance in the street – between the booths. Color Guard and music forced us to our feet. It felt like Mardi Gras.
There were at least a dozen “tents”…. Each with their own flavor, and their groups’ flag flying. Other Groups want another TAILGATING for the Lamar Game! Are you in????
Win! 35(Bellaire)-28(Reagan). Reginald’s Maxprep’s Qwikscore proves we made a touchdown within the first couple of minutes! I caught Channel 11’s clips of us – showing each touchdown = nice! What other news featured us?? Many news crews covered the game.
Our stands were packed! Jesse sold programs and merchandise up and down every aisle.
Halftime – Our RenoMoffett was in the Homecoming Court. ’94 Homecoming King - Flash Gordon was announced… Principal McDonough insisted that TPP(Three Penny Press) to took pics of them together.
We ended with an exciting victory…. what a game! ~Homecoming was exhilarating~
