We realise this will not allow the same flexibility we have given In the past but will continue to be as accommodating as possible. The entry form asks about attendance at the final night Ceilidh as places for this will be limited Still to be detailed will be the awarding of medals for all individual marathon runners and overall prizes for people participating all week. The fancy dress at the target zero will also be better recognised. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The organisation was of a very high quality.  There was plenty of water and food at the feed stations and the logistics with regards to getting everyone onto the capeside was excellent.  One of the best if not the best organised race I have ever entered. Caroline from Edinburgh wrote “I’ll add comments on the website but wanted to thank everyone involved for all your work in organising the marathon and relays.   It’s the most well organised event I’ve ever been to and also the most logistically complex! If it were up to me I’d send the Edinburgh Half Marathon race director to spend some time with your organising committee!  They only had to start a race on time and dish out some numbers and chips and they couldn’t do either.”
