just an email i got from the Cork TD's
they want a group payment so i will be asking for money very soon. (infact this week and next) deadline is the 30th august
its €20 per player which is roughly around £17-£18 roughly.

I will also be getting intouch with sheilas again for accommodation! so i may be badgering you about more for that also, so keep your wallets close by.

Hi all,

Thank you for confirming your interest in attending Cork Open 2010.

We would grateful if you could pay for your team's player fees, (€20 per player), as soon as possible. Payments can be in the form of a cheque made out to UCC ULTIMATE FRISBEE CLUB and may be posted to the following address:
         Brian O'Callaghan
         20 Douglas Hall Lawn,
         Well Road, Douglas,
         Cork,
         Ireland.

Alternatively, if you wish to pay by IBAN (International Bank Account Number) the details are below. If using the the IBAN please attach "Ultimate Frisbee" or "Cork Open Fee" so that it will be easier for us to find your lodgement, thanks.
Acc. Name: UCC Clubs Account
Branch: Bank of Ireland, University College Cork
Sort Code: 90-96-95
A/C no. : 79337705
IBAN : IE48 BOFI 9096 9579 3377 05
BIC: BO FI IE 2D

The closing date for payment is Monday 30th August.

We ask that you pay in full for as many players as you know are definitely attending and/or the number you anticipate to attend.

We would prefer not to deal with registering individual players on the day of the tournament, so we would ask that teams try to provide accurate lists/numbers of players who will be participating. Of course, this will not always be possible so if teams do bring players not on the list and who haven’t paid, we will need to collect the money on the morning of the tournament or else that player will not be eligible to play.

Thanks again for confirming your participation in Cork Open 2010. If you require any further information or need clarification on anything, please send us an email at cork...@gmail.com .

Regards

Brian, Gerda & Kieran (Cork Open TD’s)

Right Ledz!!

All Irelands are done!! Roll on Cork 18th/19th Sept

Squad size
14 players i think is the ideal squad size to take to Cork.
i have the list of the players that are interested and will be getting in touch to see if they are still definites!
I want to be taking a strong squad down to Cork as this is one of BUG's Goal tournaments to do well in.
After speaking with Brian one of the TD's he has said that there is a pickup team and belfast players are welcome to join to get more experience. so basically everybody has the oppertunity to play at cork either for BUG or the Pickup team.

COST
player fee is €20 per player.
the TD's want this paid as a lump some.
so when you confirm you are a definite i will be asking for money!!

ACCOMODATION
ok we have two options
SHELIA'S HOSTEL or from speaking with Brian one of the Cork TD's they have floor space for us!
when i get in touch with you i will be asking which do you prefer.

we need to get moving on this quickly especially with the payment side of things as the deadline is the 30th august but i had a friendly chat with the td and we have got a bit of an extention because most of us our at Copa this weekend.

Il be in touch or if you want to confirm your interest now then text me 07837560170

i will be down at training tomorrow just to throw about and chat to people about Cork!
i will need ALL!!!! money very soon aswell as i cant afford to bank roll any more ultimate events!

€20 = £17 per player.
if you want to come to cork please bring money to training tomorrow. Correct change aswell please!

il also be looking into shellias hostel again and will get prices tomorrow. some of you have expressed an interest for this while others want free floor space.
i am personally going to the hostel and if you want floor space il pass on details for you to arrange this.

we need to be quick on this as i would like everyone paid up by saturday so we can send down player fees as we are already passed the deadline.

again not to sound like a tool but if you dont pay then you dont play! SIMPLES

see you all tomorrow at stranmillis!!

I still don't have a lift but could potentially be in work until after
8...who else is driving down and at what times?

At the risk of upsetting a few people, I don't think the usual free
market approach to sorting out cars works and usually results in more
cars going than need to.

What I've been able to work out so far...

Windy - Ards-ish - 6pm
Steve - Comber - 6pm
Keely - Bangor - 6pm
Pete - Belfast -after 10pm
Hammy - Bangor - after 8pm?
ob - Bangor - anytime after 4pm
Marco - Ards - don't know when he's leaving
Luke - Ards
Rob - Belfast
Keith - Belfast
Alan - Belfast
Lintor - Belfast - already left

I'm going to have to bring work with me, which means bring a laptop.
I'd prefer being able to lock this in the boot of my own car, unless
someone doesn't mind me holding on to their car keys over the weekend.

I've no idea what Rob, Keith and Alan are doing, but I think Keith
normal cycles to Cork, so he's probably already left.

So we have the-
" bantor land boat" marco, rob, garry and luke
"windy mobile" windy, keely and roidman. Room for one more. 6 pm dept time
"midnight express" pete
"ineptness" linter has apparently made it to cork.

So thats 8 players and a cripple organised to get to cork.

So that leaves alan, ob, keith and hammy j

Also a reminder to have yoyo's with you to pay for hostel €26
reservation is under my name.
Note- so are my card details so please dont break anything

See you down there at some stage on friday night.
