Hey guys!
I'm sure it feels like weeks ago but I hope everyone had a nice Christmas break and new year. How's your January going so far?
Belfast Ruby will be kicking off again on Tuesday 3rd February at Shopkeep's office on Ormeau Avenue. We'll have more details and will update the website soon.
We'd love to see a few more people volunteering to do a talk this year. Remember it can be as short as 10 minutes or up to about 30m, it's a loose set up :)
The talk topics are pretty loose too and don't have to be strictly about Ruby. You could talk about a sweet tool or GitHub plugin you use, your development process, a product you made using Ruby/Rails.
Or maybe something a little different, like; how to stay sane in the world of development, tips for learning new things or staying focused. We're open to ideas :)
Would anyone be up for giving a talk in the upcoming months, perhaps March/April time?
If you're interested or want to ask more about it, comment here or feel free to email me - mkeizer[at]

Oh and if you have any ideas about how we can make our meetups better or have ideas about things we could try, leave a comment too!
Thanks guys
Melissa
