I'm helping start a DevOps Belfast Meetup, for people interested in better collaborative working between dev & operations people, agile project management, continuous integration & delivery and all of the related technologies & skills.
Our plan is to meet once a month when possible, hosting a mix of local & guest speakers - followed by some food etc. For our inaugural event, we have John Fitzpatrick of Chef talking about Infrastructure as Code & Paddy Carey from rehab studios talking about Docker, which is leading the current wave of light weight container management for deploying & operating software.
It would've great if any of you could come along, and even better if you could help spread the word to friends & colleagues who might be interested.
And if you have any ideas for a talk or topic in the coming months, that would be super awesome :)
