Thank you for advice .. I was just trying to get a solution quick about two weeks ago to my mum..
it was available n sounded nice pc.. even if only used for browsing web on the basic hdmi tv in the living room.
it will be a big improvement on her slow chromebook n dual core laptop with 2gb memory.
She moving flat soon so they can re wire it..
so she is not in rush too.plug in the Acer desktop..
Thank you again for replying n helping ...
She wanted me too buy herself a new.Laptop because she got fed up with all the red tape and barrriers too get hold of her disabled student laptop.
The one barrier that i fixed for her was the automatic production of the student ID card which needed a photo uploade to the univeristy student ID portal. She did not understand and everybody else dealing it with had not realised that she did not understand the language they was using and that she did not have the skills or technology to take a photo of herself and upload up the website. So i logged into the portal and dit it for her and told all the parties involved it been put in the correct place and that my mother had limited it skills and did not understand that she could not send it as an attachment to the student admin office.
Then removed the block on her getting her student laptop given too her and she got her proper student ID number not the temp one that did not unlock anything other then logging into the student ID portal page.
So she now getting slowly to grips with her new window 10 laptop from the univeristy , there still seems to be some issue with her co-op broadband but not sure what that is. It could be that she used the power pack from her old BT router on the new co-op router and it maybe not powerfully enough or to many volts going into the router and it not coping with more then one device on here wifi network. Or just could be that the CO-OP broadband router is some cheap one and really bad at providing more then one wifi connection at a time.
She going have the issue when she moves out of her flat for a few weeks how she going to have broadband in the her temp flat a few doors down from her original flat?
she hoping that the housing association that she renting the flat off will deal with that issue somehow..
it complex setup and she not really coping with all the demands that being put on her and not getting straight answers.
It does seem like the tech support is a little better from the univerisy now that not dealing with her own private laptops..
also the moving is not going to help with her studying either.
she is 72.
also got a number of health conditions..

Thanks, but no thanks. I just knew somebody who could answer the question for me.
Facebook Marketplace was the only place I could afford a used car back in January. The bloke selling it said that his tax book submission was missing in the post. However, I was able to get it sorted, and taxed, back in April.
Life without a job sucks for me. Too easily misled as a Student and made bad module choices in Final Year. :|
Keep her lit! :)

I passed on the spec details to a Computer Shop Owner I know.
This is what he said about the laptop your mum got.
Thanks.
