Dear All,

I was hoping to try and keep this group going and was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up. I would be happy to organize a venue.

Please let me know what you think and any subject you would be interested in.

For me I would like to look at:

General programming approaches
Creating Musical structures
Micro Controls (Arduino or others)
Improvisation group - monthly noise making sessions (this could be open not just SC?)

Any thoughts,

Cheers,

Saul

Hey,

I guess no one else has replied? I’m keen to keep this moving also, but I think my attendance will be severely limited until i submit my PhD.

I’m really up for the idea of expanding the group to cover other areas like hardware, micro controllers, improvisation. If there is interest, perhaps the supercollider group could migrate to more of a musically inclined FLOSS group. Similar to what we used to do several years ago. The advantage to this is that it is less specifically supercollider & programming focused and would hopefully draw a larger crowd and generate interesting discussions (while still maintaining SC & programming features).

Cavan.
