Belfast SuperCollider User Meeting: 6:30pm Weds 12th Dec, Farset Labs

Hi all,

The next Belfast SuperCollider User Group meeting will be taking place on December 12th from 6:30pm at Farset Labs (full address and maps link below). If you're running late or have trouble finding the place you call my phone (07453556956).

The topic for this session will be interaction between supercollider and the real world through the use of MIDI, OSC or HID devices.

I will be showcasing the modality toolkit ([1],[2]): “A toolkit to simplify the creation of personal (electronic) instruments utilizing hardware and software controllers of any kind.“ It would be best if people could bring along a midi controller so that you can try out the system while I explain it.

Graham Booth will show us the instrument that he has been working on which uses a Wacom drawing table.
