Help Us Bring Traffic Safety Education To All Maine Students
|
The Bicycle Coalition of Maine wants to ensure that all students in Maine are taught traffic safety in schools, and we need your help to make this a reality. One of our generous members has agreed to match dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, all 2017 Summer Appeal contributions to help advance the Coalition's Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education initiatives. Donate today to double your impact and help us expand the reach of our traffic safety education to all corners of the state!
Currently, our Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education program reaches only 10 percent of Maine school children annually. We've worked tirelessly in 2017 to pass legislation that would result in all Maine children receiving age-appropriate lessons on traffic safety in school, giving them the tools to walk and ride on the road safely in their youth and throughout life. While our bill is still in limbo, the Coalition wants to move forward in achieving our goal. Help us today by making a gift!
