I'm terrible at picking names. So far I've got BelHack and HackFast.
Yeah, thats how bad I am.

If anyone has any ideas for names / logos / etc. Let 'em rip!

As noted, I'm doing a few designs as a suggestion for a logo. The
usual disclaimers apply regarding it being crap.

However, I just want to know if we've formally decided on a name?
Belfast Hackerspace or what?

Belfast Hackerspace is admittedly functional and very clear, but do we
have any other suggestions?

Thanks,

David

I think the result of some discussion at the last meet was that keeping
our current name and focusing on the initialism was best?

So BHWG over Belfast Hackerspace.

Correct me if I'm wrong :D

Random Name ideal; I was wiki-surfing today and found that there is a
contained river under belfast called the Farset.
I liked the name, so combined it with The Jargon File's definitive
statement of a collective noun for hackers, a cruft

I agree, the main thing is the Farset, but I just like the word 'cruft' in terms of hackers :D

Unfortunately, the .et ccTLD is run by retards, and only appear to do .com.et, .info.et etc

Farset twitter is taken by come rebecca from oregon, bitch :D

I enjoy the massacre of ads. This sentence will slaughter ads without a messy bloodbath.

Well, I'm trying to get a selection of logo designs done again for tomorrow night, so I'll work Farset in.

I was under the impression we weren't sticking posters up for this one (Hackathon) because we have such limited space - is this still correct?

Yeah, unless anything suitably awesome appears.
