I've dropped the ball on this again, even after having a long talk with
Kevin from 091Labs during the last hackathon. We really need to confirm
our plans for the hackerspaces area at MineField. I'm still unclear of
the setup for the event Jane/Kevin any info the location, size of space
available for the hackerspaces area?

In a general sense we're looking to have a group of hackers hanging out
working on projects and activities. We should prepare some of the
projects beforehand. We will also run some workshops which might be the
same each day.

I've been working on providing electronic kits for the area and hope to
have a really cheap soldering badge. And hopefully a large RGB LED
display.

Can members from the other spaces volunteer to get involved and get some
projects together. Some ideas have included electronic fashion, open
kinects, 3d printing, but anything which is of interest to the general
public is fair game.

Can I suggest we have a conference call on Wednesday evening at 9pm to
discuss project ideas. We can use the hackerspaces.org call-in SIP
service. All you need is a sip client like linphone, and to use the sip
address of 77...@voip.telephreak.org
