Remote School day schedule for Belding

Dear Belding families:

My team has been hard at work building our new remote schedule....  VERY SPECIFIC small details are not completed.   But I am sending you a broad outline you can plan.

The school day is normally 7:45 -  am- 2:45 pm when we are in person for in-school learning.

DURING REMOTE LEARNING every teacher will have a planning period first hour. Students can use that time (if they wish) to prepare for school, complete assignments, work on educational software, and to read.  Students who aren't up and working early may need a little time after 2:45 to complete some assignments. 

OUR VIRTUAL BELDING SCHOOL DAY for students will be 8:45 am - 2:45 pm. They will start and end the day with a video class, and there will be several hours of live video classes during that time 8:45 - 2:45 pm (your child's specific hour by hour schedule is forthcoming).

EVERY STUDENT and STAFF at BELDING will have a lunch break daily from 12:00 -12:45 pm. We recommend that lunch be screen free time for all, but there may be some occasional optional "lunch bunches" with counselors and teachers.  

We are working out your child's specific hour by hour schedule to share with you soon.  But I wanted to give that beginning, end of school day and lunch information now so that you can plan.

As soon as we have the information we will share with you  the google classroom codes for each period and such, but that is all being developed in the coming weeks.
