Status Update, 2011-12-05

Welcome to the weekly status update for the belay research team.

In the last week, we completed the following tasks:

• Attributes provided by OpenID providers are now used to populate the attribute lists for sections in the station.
• Attributes provided via OpenID can now be passed on to belay instances within the appropriate section.
• Discussions around the future directions of the belay project occurred.

In the coming week, we plan to:

• Allow login using bound OpenID credentials
• Add a top-level "identity" attribute to each section, which can be used to select attributes quickly.
• Better flow for binding identities to sections

Additionally, a port of the server-side infrastructure for Belay to Java will begin this week. This is in the planning stage at present, more information will be available in the near future.
